​Injections carry the risk of swelling and bruising. We cannot always prevent these side effects but some steps you can take to reduce your risk include:

Avoiding alcohol, exercise, caffeine and cigarettes for 24-48 hours before treatment.

Discontinue use of Aspirin, ibuprofen or other NSAIDS, Gingko Biloba, Garlic, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, or any oil supplements at least 3 days to 1 week before treatment and 3 days to1 week post treatment. (Consult your physician prior to stopping anything listed if theses are prescribed medications)

Start taking arnica supplements 1 week pre treatment
Wrinkle Relaxers:

DO NOT lay down for 4 hours post treatment

Avoid any type of facial, peel, laser, Microderm abrasion, or massage for 14 days after treatment.

Avoid rubbing the areas that have been treated for the first 48 hours post treatment.

You may notice small areas of redness and/or small bumps at the injection sites immediately following your treatment. These will resolve quickly, usually within 15 minutes.

Avoid saunas, hot tubs and tanning immediately after treatment.

Dermal Fillers:

Avoid any type of facial, peel, laser, Microderm abrasion, or massage for 14 days after treatment.

Do not sleep or apply pressure on your face for the first 24-48 hours

Take arnica supplements and/or use an arnica cream at injection site.

Apply ice to treated area.

Avoid saunas, hot tubs and tanning after treatment.

Contact your provider if you experience excessive unrelieved pain or abnormal skin discolouration.

Schedule your appointment at least 2-weeks before any special events or vacations.

Reschedule if you are feeling sick or have an active infection ie: flu, cold sore, rash.

Avoid dental work 2-weeks before or after Dermal Fillers.

Botox and dermal fillers WILL NOT be injected on people who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
